The Lt. Joseph P. DiBernardo Memorial Foundation, established in 2012, “carries on Joey’s legacy by training firefighters and providing personal life safety rope systems to departments in the United States and Canada which do not have the means to provide this important life-saving equipment,” says Chief Joe DiBernardo. An annual seminar provides training to firefighters supports the Foundation's grant program which helps departments and firefighters throughout North America stay safe.
